Nailsea Disability Initiative is fortunate to have established a partnership with the University of Law in Bristol.
Through this collaboration, we are extremely fortunate to have student volunteers from the University help us with our client caseload, particularly in the area of appeals and submissions.
Allen Worwood was one of the students we were fortunate enough to have helped us during the last year at the drop-in centre. We all think very highly of him and believe he will go on to make a first-class lawyer.
So it came as no surprise to us to find that he had been nominated and has indeed won the University of Law 2017 pro bono award for the fantastic work he has done while volunteering with us at NDI.
