It was a great pleasure to visit the Cribbs Causeway Shopping Mall this week to be presented with a fantastic cheque for £1000 as part of its Fountain fund Appeal.
The shopping centre runs the Mall Fountain Fund which supports local grassroots organisations in the community which are geographically close to the shopping Mall. If you ever wondered where the pennies that children throw into the Fountain located centrally on the ground floor go ? Well all these coins are collected and distributed amongst lucky local charity recipients such as NDI. Proceeds from this collection as well as from the donations from the Christmas train rides mean that this year the Mall Fountain fund has raised over £12,000 for local good causes.
